Happy New Year! Drawing more and posting it is definitely one of my resolutions for this year... which is probably a less crazy resolution than some of the other stuff that's on my list, such as sky diving, some hardcore hiking, and long distance biking. We'll see how it goes.

I'm feeling rather optimistic for 2010, mainly because I've given a lot of things a break in 2009 and I've got the fire back.... I find when I leave something for a while, I usually come back at it with a different approach, and that new approach is usually a bit more critical of how I used to do things before. So there will possibly be a lot of changes happening this year in terms of mediums, drawing styles, artistic processes, mentality etc. but optimistically for the better.

This drawing started off without any purpose or direction, but evolved from a really quick doodle I did of an old dude's face. The more I look at it, it reminds me of my version of Scrooge as the Christmas Carol,  with Jim Carey, is still fresh in my mind. I like the shading of the face, and his happy perverted expression.

Just started a job at SFU Microcomputer store! Recently, we just put up a Wacom Bamboo tablet  on the side, and here are some of the drawings I've done:

Super Dodgeball Sketches
Thursday, 17 April 2008

I should make the correction that the last post of the vectored dodgeball logo is not for VDL, but for Ellie Moon's fundraiser for easter Seals. Anyway, the event website is www.elliemoon.com/superhero. Here are some more drawings I did that will supposedly be included on the website and posters. Yay!

I've been noticing a lot of technical problems with my website recently. Unfortunately, my knowledge is pretty limited when it comes to this kind of stuff. Please, if you have any suggestions on anything you notice, I would definitely appreciate it.
